The 2472 pulled out of the engine house with her cylinder cocks wide open, as bright and shiny as the day she was first delivered.	The 2472 left the station to begin her run along San Francisco Bay and up to the dry bean festival.	The 2472 steamed down the center of Oakland's streets toward Jack London Square.	The steam blew off the whistle as we passed through the sugar cane factory.
The 2472 whistled for the crossings as she pulled her consist of Daylight cars.	The 2472 came into the turn with the whistle blowing and the bell clanging.	The locomotive whistled off for the crossings as it pulled up the grade.	At track speed, the huge drive wheels and main bearings were rolling out down the line.
